HSE officer for Interiors Division

Job Title: HSE Officer – Interiors Division (Construction)

Location: Qatar (Local Hiring Only)
Experience Required: 4–5 Years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our Interiors Division within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all project sites, with a strong focus on interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs on-site
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments for interior fit-out activities
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions for workers
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure a safe working environment
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• 4–5 years of relevant HSE experience in construction, preferably in interiors/fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards
• Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is mandatory
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on interior fit-out or finishing projects
• Familiarity with Qatar construction safety standards
