HSE Officer-Healthcare facility

Job description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer with a strong background in healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Job Title: HSE Officer (Healthcare Facility)
Location: NHL – Doha
Employment Type: Contract – 2 Months (Extendable)
Salary: QAR 4,500 + QAR 250 Transportation Allowance
Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week | 9 Hours per Day

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and healthcare safety standards
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and internal audits
• Monitor infection control, hazardous material handling, and waste management processes
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss reports and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for staff
• Coordinate with facility management, clinical teams, and external authorities
• Maintain proper documentation and HSE reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in a healthcare facility (hospital/medical center)
• Strong knowledge of healthcare safety regulations and infection control standards
• Experience in emergency preparedness and fire safety systems
• Good communication and reporting skills

• Ability to conduct training and lead safety initiatives
• Ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment
