- Implement and monitor the company’s HSE management system, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare related documentation and corrective action plans.
- Ensure all staff and subcontractors comply with HSE rules and regulations.
- Deliver HSE induction and training programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintain and update safety records, permits, and documentation.
- Monitor and control use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Support emergency response plans and conduct periodic drills.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Promote safety awareness culture across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC before 2022 compulsory.
- IOSH certification
- Minimum [5] years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction.
- Sound knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices.
- Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, high-risk environment.
