HSE Officer

Doha, Qatar

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in construction industry.
  • Knowledge of local HSE regulations and international best practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in incident investigation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety induction programs for new employees and contractors.
  • Maintain records of safety audits, incident reports, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate emergency response and evacuation drills.
  • Promote a positive safety culture across the site and encourage proactive reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities on HSE-related matters.
  • Support management in continuous improvement of the HSE management system.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
