HSE Section Manager

We are now looking for a HSE Section Manager who has the following qualifications to work in our HSE Department in our factory operating in Sakarya.

The ideal candidate should have…

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry departments of universities,

•At least 8 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety areas of manufacturing companies in the chemical industry, preferably in process safety,

•Having A Class Occupational Health and Safety Expert License,

•Preferably having NEBOSH certificate,

•Having knowledge of the relevant legislation on Occupational Health and Safety and trained in management systems or training programs in accordance with international standards on these issues,

•Preferably, having ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001 Management System Standard certificates which have international validity in OHS,

•Good command of English,

•Proficient in using MS Office applications,

•Excellent problem solving and crisis management skills,

•Strong interpersonal, negotiation, coordination, communication skills,

•Having B type driving license and active driver,

•Resident or able to reside in Sakarya/Kocaeli.

This position will be carrying out…

•Creation and ensuring the up-to-datedness of procedures, instructions and forms for the development and management of OHS Systems; to make it usable by the employees, to ensure and control its execution or to make revisions,

•Creation of OHS Plans and related documents,

•Controlling project and operation-based business processes within the scope of OHS, detecting faulty aspects and coordinating the improvement processes,

•Giving OHS trainings for existing employees and the employees starting to work,

•To provide necessary training for company employees about OHS Management System, ISO14001:2015, ISO 45001 Management Systems,

•Performing OHS Risk Assessment studies,

•Conducting Occupational Accident analyses,

•Execution of emergency plans,

•Following the OHS Legislation.
