PMC HSE Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :

• Promote HSSE culture in the workplace
• Monitor and ensure compliance of HSSE Plan and local statutory and legal requirements pertaining to HSSE.
• Be fully familiar with Project contract requirements, policies and procedures and ensure that the requirements relating to the site operations are implemented.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports of HSSE management activities.
• Ensure construction / operational activities carry out in adherence to the project Objectives and programs.
• Implement worksite HSE plans in regard to HSE work practices.
• Maintain the effectiveness and continued development of the HSSE management system and providing direction and support to its application on the project
• Lead investigation and reporting of any incidents may require such action. unication

Qualifications:

• Certified HSSE professional according to Turkish law and/or International Standards.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the same role with exposure to construction projects, Oil&Gas industry background.
• Fully proficient in English (official language of the project).
• Knowledge on construction HSE plan, objectives, ISO 14001, & OHSAS 18001.
• Knowledge of Turskish HSSE Legislation.
• Able to interpret the project fire, safety, health, and environment plan and implement the program during construction and commissioning phase.
• Able to apply the legal and other requirements (e.g. ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 systems) to ensure the safety of all the workers, to organize and deliver HSSE training, to manage implementation of HSSE plans and to set up HSSE field audit system.
• Well versed with Accident Prevention Methodologies & preparation of Incident / Accident Statistics and reporting system.
• Good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills and capability to work cooperatively in a multicultural/international team.
• Intermediate to high level office computing
• Ability to communicate in an articulate manner with clients, consultants, construction contractors and EPC contractors
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive
• Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a “can-do” attitude
