About This Opportunity
We are looking for Vendor Manager & EHS responsible Turkey, based in Istanbul, who will report to the Head of Networks EHS&VM for the Customer Unit (CU) SEE.
This role will act as the service delivery leader for Environment and Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) and Vendor Management (VM) for Networks Services activities in Turkey country, empowering our people, leading the market, and driving customer success to contribute to the overall success of CU SEE, EMEA and Group Objectives.
What You Will Do
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Improvement

Foster close cooperation with Sourcing, PMO, Delivery Units and EHS specialists during project execution and acceptance.

Identify and implement improvements in vendor management and EHS processes to enhance safety culture, support operational safety-driven execution, monitor quality of services outcomes.

Push for implementation of automation to support operational activities and transform processes by adopting digital tools.
Vendor Manager
The role is to assure best value at procurement of resources and services cross Service Lines from ASPs and FSOs in accordance with related scope. Have all needed information on supplier base in roll-out and acts on supplier performance issues. Monitor the application of the correct contractual prices according to agreed scope. Ensure OHS competence of supplier. Part of supplier evaluation, selection and KPI requirements. Responsible for forecasting and ASP Operational Governance Framework.
Maintain strong and trusted relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to support effective collaboration and delivery performance with ASPs.
In the role you will do:
Presales phase and sourcing activities

Support solution engineering with ASP SoW and pricing

Forecast ASP demand & lead technical evaluation of ASP candidates

Support development of ASP selection criteria and secure required capacity

Support implementation of consequence management frameworks with respect to adherence of policies and operational procedures

Support deployment and secure adoption of the Global ASP Catalogue in CU SEE
Readiness and ASP Onboarding

Develop and secure ASP competence and training plans
-
Secure ASPs required licenses, tools, permits and OHS certification
-
Secure ASPs are informed of Ways of working, processes, and performance requirements
Governance and work allocations
-
Secure that ASP performance KPIs measured continuously

Establish ASP Operational and Internal Governance meetings to follow-up escalations and ASP performance
-
Responsible for raising discussion and actions in case deviation of procurement board decisions
EHS responsible
The role is responsible for providing Environment, Health, Safety, and Well-being (EHS) support and guidance to the assigned project(s)/contract(s). The goal is to support the delivery organization to ensure compliance with relevant legal, customer, and Ericsson EHS requirements, and to foster a safety culture within the project(s)/contract(s) to reach Target Zero.
In the role you will do:

Be accountable for the effective implementation of the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring fulfillment of Ericsson and country/customer safety requirements

Drive adherence to Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety processes and tools across employees and suppliers
-
Promote a culture of safety and compliance, embedding EHS awareness into all operational activities
-
Define EHS awareness and communication program for the projects (including HS&W recognition, both internal and suppliers) and lead overall improvement
-
Take part in supplier governance meeting, performance review meeting and address EHS issues
-
Define compliance check regime for the project (where, when, what, who, how) and lead overall improvement

Be the project EHS interface for customer

Define and maintain the EHS responsibility matrix of the project
-
Ensure adherence of the project to the CU-defined and project-specific EHS targets and KPIs
-
Support execution of the EHS related processes (Consequence Management Maturity Assessment, Stop Work Authority, etc.)

Define the EHS risk and opportunity assessment regime for the project (where, when, what, who, how)
-
Oversee implementation and execution of the EHS Operational Risk Assurance for the project
-
Oversee incident management in the project, lead root cause analysis and overall improvement
-
Support implementation of tools and automation processes related to EHS

At least 2 years’ experience in telecom Field Operations

Proven presentation and communication skills

Outstanding data analysis and analytical reporting skills

University Degree, preferably in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience

Strong personal track record and industry references
