Job Purpose:

To ensure a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and maintaining effective Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and practices across all construction activities. The HSE Specialist plays a key role in hazard identification, accident prevention, training, and ensuring full compliance with the company’s HSE policies and legal requirements.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the identification of potential hazards in coordination with the supervision team within assigned areas.
  • Conduct regular, planned area inspections in collaboration with area representatives.
  • Ensure alignment with the company’s HSE policy by achieving set targets and implementing safety programs.
  • Deliver HSE induction and job-specific safety trainings.
  • Organize and lead periodic safety meetings at work locations.
  • Maintain effective communication with contractors and employees regarding safety matters.
  • Ensure that all employees, contractors, and visitors are aware of emergency procedures.
  • Prepare and submit a monthly HSE inspection report for each contractor, including follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Investigate on-site accidents and incidents, and prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain a full-time presence on-site to monitor and follow up on all safety-related activities.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Agriculture.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • OSHA certification.
  • Certification in Scaffolding Inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of safe scaffolding practices, lifting operations, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Proven ability to organize and deliver HSE-specific training sessions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to contribute to the development of HSE programs and reports.
  • Skilled in preparing detailed audit reports, including necessary preventive and corrective measures.
  • Proficient in English.
