Human Resource Associate - 2nd Shift

Overview:

Service-oriented role designed to support the organization in multiple areas of Human Resources to include Employee Engagement, Benefits Administration, Policy Administration, Talent Acquisition, H.R. Compliance and Safety Administration. Role will encompass regular employee transactional and administrative support work along with project work to contribute to H.R. and enterprise strategic initiatives.

Hours: 12:30pm - 9:00pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full cycle talent acquisition process for hourly and staff roles for the organization to include onboarding new hires and researching candidate hiring sources
  • Manage new employee onboarding process to include company education, background screening compliance and employee data input activities.
  • Maintain HR records, including personnel files and benefits information
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs
  • Provide support for HR-related projects, such as performance management and training initiatives
  • Conduct HR-related research as needed
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

Competencies:

  • A minimum of 2 years of multi-faceted Human Resources experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish) is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Liberal Arts or Business Administration
  • Successful track record in completing projects in various H.R. functional areas like Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compliance and Compensation.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft product suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, trusting, cross functional relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
