Human Resources (HR) Manager / HR Executive
Reporting To:
Director / Principal / School Management
Purpose of the Role:
To manage and streamline all human resource functions of the school, ensuring effective recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and a positive work culture aligned with the school’s vision and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manpower planning in coordination with Academic Heads and Management.
- Preparing job descriptions for teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff.
- Publishing job vacancies through portals, networks, and referrals.
- Screening resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, and coordinating demo classes / final interviews.
- Issuing offer letters, appointment letters, and maintaining joining formalities.
- Ensuring timely onboarding of new employees.
2. Onboarding & Induction
- Conducting structured induction programs for new staff.
- Orientation on school policies, code of conduct, academic expectations, and HR procedures.
- Ensuring completion of joining documents, certificates, background verification, and ID creation.
3. Employee Records & Documentation
- Maintaining complete employee files (physical & digital).
- Updating HRMIS / staff registers with attendance, leaves, contracts, and renewals.
- Handling probation confirmation, contract renewals, and exit documentation.
- Issuing experience letters, relieving letters, and service certificates.
4. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
- Monitoring staff attendance, late coming, and leave records.
- Managing leave policies (CL, SL, EL, maternity, medical, etc.).
- Coordinating with accounts for payroll processing, increments, deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Addressing salary-related queries from employees.
5. Performance Management & Quarterly Appraisal
- Designing and implementing Quarterly Performance Appraisal System for:
- Teaching Staff
- Non-Teaching & Administrative Staff
- Coordinating self-appraisals, HOD feedback, and management reviews.
- Tracking KPIs such as:
- Classroom performance
- Professional development
- Discipline & punctuality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹33,041.51 per month
