The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, capable of building HR infrastructure while managing day-to-day operations. This position performs broad professional/functional responsibilities in the areas of employee relations, benefits, compensation, recruitment and other human resource functions, ensuring consistency in the administration of HR policies and practices. Provides guidance and support for management.

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for all roles

  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and postings

  • Build and c oordinate execution of onboarding and orientation programs

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture

  • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives

  • Serve as a partner / leader on advisor on culture, change management, and leadership

Talent and Performance Management

  • Lead initiatives in organizational development, succession planning, and workforce planning

  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews

  • Develop and maintain performance management systems

  • Identify training and development needs

HR Policy & Practice Development

  • Recommends new approaches , policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and policies to enhance employee experience and compliance

  • Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll and benefits programs

  • Processes payroll accurately and promptly for all employees

  • Evaluate and recommend compensation structures

  • Partner with Corporate benefits team in communication and administration of benefit program s

HR Strategy & Reporting

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with overall business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, and organizational effectiveness

  • Partner with leadership to assess workforce needs and design scalable HR solutions that support growth and operational efficiency

  • Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, compensation trends) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership

Compliance, Administration , & Payroll

  • Partners with company leadership team in adherence and administration of Safety Program & Policies .
  • Ensure company practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ensures Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Payroll System are accurate and updated timely
  • Ensures leave of absences , and relevant records, are managed consistently with company policy and compliant with relevant laws
Maintains reports for workers’ compensation insurance claims and acts as the main contact when investigating claims .

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in H uman Resources , Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized company

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems

  • Experience working with ADP WFN and Workday preferred

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

  • Ability to o ccasional ly lift office supplies or files (up to 20 lbs )

  • Ability to move throughout the office , plant floor, and facility to interact with employees and attend meetings

  • Ability to wear safety glasses & hearing protection as required
