Human Resource Manager

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Position Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity to establish and lead a best-in-class Human Resources department for a prominent Saudi Arabian family with global assets. As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all HR strategies, systems, and policies, ensuring compliance with local (KSA) and international labour laws (KSA, UK, EU, USA). The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of HR best practices, extensive experience in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and a proven ability to build a world-class HR organisation from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and selection.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

2. Payroll Management:

  • Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
  • Manage payroll records and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

3. Government Relations:

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in all countries where the family has properties.
  • Liaise with government authorities for work permits, visas, and other necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors to handle any legal matters related to employment.
  • Ensure all employment contracts are legally compliant and up-to-date.

4. Record Management:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Ensure records are updated regularly and stored securely.
  • Implement data protection policies to ensure the privacy and security of employee information.
  • Train staff on data protection best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a high-net-worth family office or similar environment.
  • Previous experience with internationally recognized luxury hotel brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental, or similar 5-star properties is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and payroll regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-profile stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR management software and tools.

Additional Information:

  • The position requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Occasional travel may be required to manage international HR matters and attend meetings.
  • The role is based in Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to international operations.
