Role Overview
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues, driving initiatives around recruitment, performance management, training, engagement, and company culture within the fast-paced world of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract top digital talent (designers, marketers, strategists, content creators, etc.).
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle – job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Design and execute onboarding programs that integrate new hires smoothly into the agency culture.
2. Performance Management
- Implement fair and transparent performance appraisal systems aligned with company goals.
- Provide guidance to managers on goal-setting, feedback and performance improvement plans.
3. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs, especially in marketing, creative, and leadership areas.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Act as the point of contact for employee relations, ensuring issues are handled professionally and confidentially.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and compliance with labor laws.
- Manage payroll coordination, leave tracking, and benefits administration.
- Ensure company policies reflect modern workplace values and local regulations.
6. Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Provide insights on workforce planning, retention and organizational development.
- Support the agency’s scaling strategy by building a strong employer brand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in HR management, preferably within creative, marketing or tech industries.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and digital workplace culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in HR software (e.g., Zoho People, BambooHR, or similar).
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt HR practices to a fast-evolving agency environment.
