Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

Duties

  • Manage and process new hire applications.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to onboard new hires effectively, ensuring they understand company policies, benefits, and organizational culture.
  • Support performance management initiatives by assisting with employee evaluations, goal setting, and tracking progress.
  • Administer benefits programs and compensation processes.
  • Assist in employee relations activities by addressing workplace concerns, managing conflict resolution efforts, and promoting positive communication.
  • Contribute to HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to align workforce strategies with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records by collecting data on workforce management metrics such as OSHA compliance reports and workers' compensation claims.
  • Manage and address payroll applications including time punch and scheduling processes.
  • Perform Basic accounts payable functions including data entry for payable invoices.
  • Maintain office supply and stationary in accordance with budget.

Qualifications

  • Experience in human resources management or coordination roles preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and contract management to ensure legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively engage with employees at all levels and facilitate training & development initiatives.
  • Administrative experience involving data entry accuracy and document management.
  • Experience in typing, document development, and Microsoft Office and Excel.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
