Human Resources Administrative Assistant

United Obstetrics and Gynecology (UOG) / The Howard Center for Women’s Health is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our growing HR team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, collaboration, and supporting employees throughout the full employment lifecycle in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth onboarding experiences, efficient recruitment processes, accurate payroll support, and compliance with credentialing and employment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and HR system entries
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and leadership
  • Provide administrative support related to payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee data updates
  • Support credentialing and compliance processes, including tracking licenses, certifications, and required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with HR correspondence, employee communications, and internal reporting
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, document management, and audit preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations and organizational needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or HR-related coursework preferred
  • Prior administrative, HR, or healthcare office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Schedule & Position Details

  • Full-time position
  • Monday–Friday schedule (may vary based on operational needs)
