Bridge Inspection, Evaluation, Analysis, and Design is the core expertise of the firm, earning a national reputation for serving DOT’s / bridge owners on major projects in over 20 states throughout the U.S. Since 2016, the company has embarked on the adaptation of New Technology in inspecting, evaluating, and designing bridges. This includes Drone Inspections, laser scanning and point-cloud mapping of large, complex structures, and the procurement and installation of sophisticated wireless (5G) bridge movement and monitoring devices. Armed with this tech, we are enabling our bridge engineers to perform their work at the highest level.

Job Description: Human Resources Administrator

AI Engineers is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to play pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our human resources team. Responsibilities will include benefits and leave administration, employee relations, onboarding support, compliance, and general HR operations. The HR Administrator will also assist with optimizing HR processes and procedures to improve efficiency and overall employee experience.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career in Human Resources. This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Manage/oversee benefits enrollment, inquiries, and issues.
  • Support annual open enrollment processes, and wellness fund and programs.
  • Coordinate with various external benefit vendors.
  • Track and administer employee leaves (FMLA, disability, PTO, etc.).

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Become main point of contact for HR-related questions and HRIS support.
  • Provide timely support and solutions to employee inquiries, escalating as appropriate.
  • Foster positive employee relations and promote a supportive, inclusive workplace culture.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with employee recruitment and onboarding as needed, including maintaining up to date onboarding materials and processes.

Records Management & HRIS

  • Oversee maintenance and accuracy of employee/HR records.
  • Accurate employee data management across HR platforms.
  • Optimization and troubleshooting of processes in HR tech systems.
  • Manage employee processes in HRIS including open enrollment, annual performance reviews, PTO renewals, training, etc.

Compliance & Reporting

  • EEO, Affirmative Action, OSHA and other required federal/state reporting.
  • Maintain labor law postings and distribute required annual notices.
  • Ensure completion of required training and certifications.

General HR Administration

  • Optimize HR processes and information utilizing technology.
  • Prepare HR documents, reports, presentations, and metrics as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate monthly all staff meetings.
  • Support immigration-related processes and documentation as needed.
  • Respond to unemployment notices, employment verifications, and HR group mail.
  • Provide administrative support for HR events and projects.
  • Other duties as needed to support the efficiency and success of the HR department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Proficiency in employee benefits administration, leave/FMLA, and general HR compliance is required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment regulations.
  • Prior HRIS experience preferred, or ability to learn new systems quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
