HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR

The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing future employees, processing new hire paperwork, completing employee verifications and background checks, and enforcing company policies and practices. The ideal candidate is willing to pitch in on all levels, support & participate in HR initiatives. Preferably fluent in Spanish, but this is not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Onboard new employees
  • Update and maintain employee records and data
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Process and maintain E-Verify and I-9 documentation
  • Process background checks
  • Assist employees in the interpretation and administration of policies and procedures
  • Facilitate the interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • All other duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience as an HR Administrator
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, PDFs, Outlook,
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to keep sensitive information confidential
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • The physical activity required for this role includes:
    • Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
    • Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching
    • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
    • Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
