HR Coordinator

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

1. Visa & Government Relations

  • Initiate and follow up on visa applications for new staff and renewals.
  • Track document validity (passports, visas, IDs) and ensure timely renewals.
  • Handle visa cancellations and ensure clearance and exit procedures are completed.
  • Coordinate with external government bodies including the Ministry of Labour, TAMM, and ICP.
  • Operate the visa and Emirates ID machine for all processing tasks.
  • Handle all Daman/insurance-related applications including issuance, cancellation, claims, and refunds.

2. Staff Attendance & Compliance

  • Monitor and validate daily staff attendance using punch-in/punch-out machine data.
  • Coordinate schedule changes and inform respective managers.
  • Prepare final approval reports for attendance and submit to the General Service Manager.
  • Update and validate sick leave certificates and ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain and update vacation schedules, and assist in planning annual leaves.

3. HR Documentation & Internal Communication

  • Issue, file, and track warning letters, sick leaves, and HR memos.
  • Maintain updated employee files, ensuring all documentation is current and complete.
  • Coordinate directly with the Admin & CEO and business owners on urgent HR, visa, or staff-related matters.
  • Review and manage passport holding logs, renewal tracking, and related follow-ups.

4. Staff Training & Development

  • Prepare and schedule staff for Food Safety Training and EFST exams.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

5. Financial Admin & Support

  • Manage Visa and Mastercard machine coordination and reporting.
  • Assist in HR-related budgeting or staff costing reports when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant HR administrative experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, time attendance systems, and documentation software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
