Job Title: Human Resource Administrator Department: Admin
Reports to: Chief People Officer Effective Date: 3/12/2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week, daytime hours, Monday through Friday
Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Administrator, you will be responsible for all human resources administrative functions including maintaining personnel files, job postings, benefits administration and conducting new employee orientations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist Chief People Officer with recruitment process, including posting jobs, reference checking, and processing background record checks.
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Administration of all employee benefits, including enrolling new employees, processing changes to benefits, processing monthly invoices, tracking employee retirement eligibility through Who’s Where, and explaining plan benefits and responsibilities to new enrollees.

Assign security fobs to employees upon hire and deactivate fobs at termination of employment.

Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Coordinate all Worker’s Compensation Injuries and incidents including processing state required Worker’s Compensation forms and OSHA log.
- Coordinate all unemployment processes including responding to claims, reviewing, and processing monthly invoices and completing Department of Labor quarterly report.

Make cash deposits at least three times a week.

Biweekly payroll processing and management of payroll system including setting up users, assisting with problems, maintaining employee database in payroll system including ACA series codes.
- Responsible for running reports required by supervisors and/or auditors including time detail history and time exception reports.
- Responsible for the data collection and analysis of the agency’s affirmative action plan.

Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and updates training records on a recurring basis.

Assist Chief People Officer with various research projects and/or special projects.

Assist with annual audit preparation.

Act as back-up for Chief People Officer

Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- PC computer experience and spreadsheet proficiency.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Effective communication skills, oral & written.
Education and Experience:

Associates Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience.

Previous payroll processing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
