Human Resources Administrator

Job Summary: Administrative level Human Resources (HR) position to provide vital support to all HR team members by helping manage daily administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations. Assist with requests for information and reports essential for maintaining organized documentation and delivering a positive employee experience.

In addition to the duties and requirements listed below, YFA expects employees to be committed to incorporating principles of trauma-informed care in all areas of service delivery. Essential Functions:

  • Monitor HR Department incoming email to research and answer questions, guide employees on how to locate information on employee resources such as SharePoint and HR technology tools, provide requested information and/or documentation. Escalate urgent issues within the HR Department for action.
  • Provide troubleshooting for employees to gain access to ADP WFN and HR Cloud. Submit service cases for issues unresolved by troubleshooting.
  • Create new and edit existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) within the HR Department.
  • Update the Employee Handbook for ease of reading and comprehension. When possible incorporate charts and visual aids.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are saved in central location and hyperlinked to different employee access points.
  • Create username and password credentials in outside LMS for new hires and record terminations.
  • Review and edit Job Descriptions for Trauma Informed Care (TIC) language, grammar, and tense consistency.
  • Update data in ADP WFN and other systems and double check for accuracy.
  • Work cooperatively in a group/team setting and communicate with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Must use best practices to de-escalate issues and quickly resolve conflict at the lowest possible level within the organization.
  • Assist with audits and gathering compliance documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or leadership which may include special projects.
  • Abide by, consistently demonstrate, and follow core values, mission statement, and policies of the organization.

Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Organizational Development or related field. Working proficiency with MS365 systems (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong organization and data entry skills. Deep focus on accuracy and completeness of communications. Preference to experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to read a computer monitor for up to 9 hours per day. Ability to drive on a local and regional basis.
