Human Resources Advisor

Summary

'We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. In this role based in our local government office, you will play a vital part in providing a variety of Human Resource-related functions to County departments and employees. This position serves as EEO/Harassment and Affirmative Action Officer.
'Responsibilities'
' Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with community-focused public service goals.

• Manage employee relations to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee recruitment processes to attract qualified candidates for various departments.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Serves as EEO/Harassment and Affirmative Action Officer and main investigator for discrimination, harassment and other complaints.
• Support organizational development through training and succession planning.
• Collaborate with department leaders on workforce planning and change management initiatives.'

Qualifications

• Proven experience in human resources management within the public sector or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage employee relations effectively.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
• Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.'

Pay: $66,888.00 - $74,319.00 per year
