Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking to add a part-time HR Analyst / Billing Specialist to our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, thrives in data, and understands HR from an analytical and operational perspective. You’ll play a key role in supporting our internal processes, client billing, and HR data management while working remotely in a flexible, contractor-based role.

What You’ll Do:

As our HR Analyst / Billing Specialist, you’ll support operations by ensuring accuracy, organization, and consistency across HR and billing-related tasks. You’ll assist with client billing, and HR data tracking, while maintaining reports, reconciling billable services, and supporting special projects as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and spreadsheets, and the ability to adapt as client needs to evolve, all while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and track billable HR services and client usage
  • Support billing preparation, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Assist with month-end close processes related to billing and accounts receivable
  • Maintain and organize HR-related data, reports, and internal documentation
  • Work extensively in Excel to track hours, services, metrics, and trends
  • Assist with HR analytics related to recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and client services
  • Partner with the AMIAS HR team to support ongoing HR projects and operational needs
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive employee and client information
  • Identify process improvements from an HR and operational perspective

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources, HR operations, analytics, or a billing-related role
  • Exposure to invoicing and accounts receivable processes
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Experience working independently in a remote environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Ability to manage flexible, sometimes variable hours while meeting deadlines
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Strong culture fit, dependable, collaborative, proactive, and service-minded
  • Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099)

Role Details:

  • Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Part-Time/ 10–20 hours per month
  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Weekends as needed
  • Variable flexible hours
  • Remote/Hybrid
