Position Overview

Alliance Health Care is currently hiring a Human Resources Assistant for a full-time, hybrid remote position based in Eagan, MN.

While the role is primarily remote, candidates must be within driving distance of our Corporate office located in Eagan, MN, as the position requires conducting in-person new hire orientations and assisting with periodic onsite projects (typically 1–2 times per month).

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, and interview job applicants for field and administrative positions
  • Process employment applications and maintain digital files
  • Schedule, provide, and track new hire onboarding and training
  • Conduct in-person new hire orientation for all administrative staff
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Maintain and monitor Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) records for applicable employees
  • Convert paper employment documents to digital/fillable formats
  • Maintain accurate HR files and documentation
  • Assist with employee record updates and changes
  • Perform monthly compliance audits
  • Coordinate annual archiving and shredding procedures
  • Assist with staff meetings and employee engagement activities
  • Manage incoming/outgoing HR calls, emails, mail and faxes
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
  • Provide backup support to HR team members as needed
  • Other miscellaneous projects/tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Manager

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to spelling, grammar, thoroughness, and professional expression
  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable speaking/presenting in front of others
  • Must have strong, reliable internet
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a MN Department of Human Services background check

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or new hire orientation/onboarding
  • Administrative experience in home health care or healthcare
  • Experience with ADP, Cashe, Pavillio, Elevate, or Sage software

Schedule and Location

  • Full-time: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Work Model: Hybrid Remote (primarily remote)
  • Onsite Requirement: Occasional in-office days, typically 1–2 times per month at our Eagan, MN Corporate office
