Human Resources Assistant (Temporary – 6 Months)
Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Reporting To: Human Resources Generalist
Job Type: Full-time · Temporary (6 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
We are looking for an organized and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources team during a 6-month assignment. This role focuses on onboarding, recruiting support, employee record management, and general HR administration.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
Process new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification and documentation
Respond to routine employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Assist with recruitment tasks: posting job openings, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, and checking references
Prepare offer letters and initiate pre-employment checks
Support HR events, training sessions, and compliance initiatives
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (electronic and paper)
Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Clear, professional communication
Ability to manage confidential information
Customer-service mindset
Basic HR knowledge or willingness to learn
Preferred:
1–2 years of HR or administrative experience
Experience with HRIS, benefits, or onboarding processes
Knowledge of employment laws
Intermediate Excel or data skills
$18–$20 per hour, based on experience
On-site in Greensboro, NC
