Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support our HR department’s daily operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday.
- Support onboarding processes by preparing new hire documentation, conducting employee orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with employment law requirements like FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry and manage employee records securely in platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
- Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans like Paychex or ADP.
- Facilitate employee relations initiatives by assisting with conflict management, performance management processes, and employee evaluation procedures.
- Support HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to promote strategic workforce development.
- Collect data for HR analytics and prepare reports on workforce metrics using tools like Salesforce or Dayforce to support decision-making.
Experience
- Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles with exposure to HR sourcing, benefits administration, or payroll processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, Kronos, or Ceridian enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law principles including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards is advantageous.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
