Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday.
  • Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate HR data entry and records management within HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
  • Contribute to employee relations initiatives by helping organize training & development sessions, performance management processes, and employee engagement activities.
  • Aid in benefits administration tasks such as enrollment processing, benefits inquiries, and compliance with employment & labor laws including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
  • Support project management activities related to organizational design, change management initiatives, succession planning, and affirmative action planning.
  • Assist with payroll processing and workers' compensation documentation using systems like Paychex or ADP to ensure timely and accurate compensation delivery.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience supporting human resources functions or in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with human capital management systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection, reporting, and documentation tasks.
