The HR Associate plays a key role in supporting Inspire’s employees and leaders while ensuring HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role combines hands-on administrative responsibilities with opportunities to partner on employee relations, making it ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in HR while contributing meaningfully from day one. The HR Associate will be a trusted resource for employees, a reliable support to the HR Manager, and a collaborative partner to school leaders across the country.


This is a remote position available to candidates located in Ohio or Pennsylvania


Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Support and Relations
    • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries about HR policies
    • Partner with Directors to manage teacher-level employee relations, performance issues, and compliance with company policies
    • Escalate complex or sensitive matters appropriately to the HR Manager
  • Process Employee Changes in HR Information System (ADP)
    • Manage new hire onboarding paperwork, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Execute termination process in ADP ensuring accuracy and compliance
    • Process employee changes (e.g., promotions, status updates) in ADP
    • Maintain complete and up-to-date employee records in ADP
  • Ad Hoc HR Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support for HR-related initiatives and projects
    • Assist the HR Manager with audits, reporting, and compliance activities
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience


Qualifications


Experience

  • 1+ years of HR experience or a degree/certification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education or another front-line, people-centered field preferred

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) a plus
