Altus, located in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team!

Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with CHRO and leaders and branch representatives throughout the business to develop and execute HR strategies focused on organizational effectiveness, performance management, learning and development, compensation, employee relations and employee engagement. To be successful in the role, the HRBP must understand business priorities and translate them to high impact work. The HRBP will help leaders throughout the business ‘look around corners” with data-driven recommendations that improve employee and leadership performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

To succeed the HRBP must have a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a consultant to management and employees, providing HR guidance and support.
  • Work collaboratively with branch HR team members to accelerate branch performance through the power of teams
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and conceptualize, develop and recommend improvements.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, merit processes and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve work relationships, morale, and productivity.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Assist in organizational change initiatives and culture-building efforts.
  • Strategize on how to integrate acquired employees into the Altus family with high employee satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role with 7+ years of experience.
  • Deep experience working with multi-state, distributed workforce and front-line workers
  • Union and contract negotiation experience preferred
  • Experience with M&A due diligence and integration strategy planning required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and critical thinking skills.
  • True “hands-on” approach and the ability to read the “pulse” of employees to ensure a high level of engagement
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of time
  • Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and burning desire to achieve excellence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
