Human Resources Coordinator

About the Position

The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the HR team by assisting with day-to-day HR operations, employee requests, and HR programs. This role works closely with the HR team and business leaders to ensure smooth HR processes, compliance, and a positive employee experience.


Responsibilities:

Employee Support & HR Operations

  • Respond to employee HR questions and requests with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including processing documents and coordinating exit surveys.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure proper filing of HR documents.


HR Systems & Performance Management

  • Support the administration of the performance management process, including tracking completion of evaluations and sending reminders.
  • Help generate HR reports and track metrics from 30/60/90-day reviews, mid-year check-ins, and exit surveys.


Compliance & Policy

  • Support business leaders with basic compliance tasks, such as license or registration tracking.
  • Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, and communications as directed by HR leadership.


Talent Development & Special Projects

  • Support the Talent Development Specialist and HR team with training initiatives, tools, and resources.
  • Assist with special HR projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and HR systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-starter and team player with a positive attitude.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
