The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment and hiring process to attract, evaluate, and onboard top-talent for the Bank. This role collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, coordinates recruitment activities and ensures a seamless candidate experience. The HR Coordinator will play a role in building a qualified and engaged workforce while maintaining compliance with employment laws and Bank policies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partners with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, post job openings, and source candidates through active and passive recruitment strategies.

Reviews resumes, conducts initial phone screens, and assesses candidate qualifications for hiring managers’ review.

Serves as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.

Schedules interviews, arranges any candidate travel, and facilitates communication between candidates and hiring teams.

Prepares offer letters and coordinates pre-employment screenings. Assists with onboarding processes, including managing new hire paperwork and scheduling orientation.

Builds and maintains a talent pool through networking, career fairs, and partnerships with universities, professional organizations, and community groups.

Ensures recruitment practices comply with federal and state employment laws, including EEO and DOL regulations. Maintains accurate and confidential candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Tracks recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, source effectiveness) and provides reports to HR leadership to optimize hiring strategies.

Utilizes and maintains the ATS to streamline recruiting workflows, track candidate progress, and ensure efficient process management across the varying recruitment stages.

Supports the administration of other HR functions and projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, required.

2+ years’ experience in a Human Resources or related role, required.
