What We Seek...

The Human Resource Coordinator will aid with and facilitate the human resource processes, working cooperatively with the Britten HR team. The position will provide administrative support to employees, assist the HR team with recruiting, employee engagement, payroll processing, benefits open enrollment, safety and training and development. Job Summary and Job Functions

• Assists with responding to employee and/or external business HR related inquiries or requests
• Assists with the recruitment process by attending recruitment events and initiatives, assesses incoming applications, schedules phone screens and interviews, following up with candidate and communications decisions on candidates’ status, performs reference checks and extends offers of employment electronically through HCM system
• Assists with the preparation, launch and tracking of the performance review process
• Schedules drug screens and physicals, employee engagement events and HR team building
• Assists with the hiring and termination process of employees
• Coordinates and/or launch and track employee training
• Performs weekly orientations and update records of new staff
• Produces and submit reports on general HR activity
• Assists with payroll, benefits open enrollment and ad-hoc HR projects
• Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
• Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
• Manage employee files and files documents into appropriate employee files
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
• Performs and supports other assigned functions as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related (essential)
• At least one-two years related experience
• Effective HR administration and people management skills
• Exposure to payroll practices, a plus
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• SHRM-CP credential preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a high pace work environment and meet tight deadlines
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Office environment working atmosphere
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Communicating with others to exchange information
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Performing and assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness work
