Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organizational success through strategic HR initiatives and effective workforce management. The Human Resources Coordinator will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.

Duties

  • Manage talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through indeed
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
  • Oversee employee evaluation processes, performance management, and training & development initiatives.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using systems like ADP
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA, OSHA, and affirmative action planning.
  • Support change management efforts and assist with organizational design and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate HR data entry and data collection using HRIS systems like Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or Dayforce.
  • Assist with HR sourcing activities to attract top talent via social media management and other recruiting channels.
  • Support payroll processing activities through collaboration with payroll systems like Kronos or ADP.
  • Prepare reports related to human capital management, workforce management, and performance metrics for leadership review.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of human resources management practices including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with HR platforms
  • Strong understanding of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action planning.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
  • Project management capabilities to handle multiple HR initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to manage change effectively within organizational structures through strategic planning and organization design expertise.
  • Experience with performance management systems and training & development programs to foster employee growth.
  • Competence in conflict management techniques to resolve workplace issues constructively.
  • Administrative experience in data entry, contract management, social media for employer branding, and HR reporting tools such as ADP. This Human Resources Coordinator position is integral to maintaining a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce while supporting the company's strategic objectives through expert HR practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
