Human Resources Coordinator

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/Onsite as needed)

Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour

Contract Duration: 3–6 months

Team: HR Team (supporting during leave coverage)


Job Description:


We’re looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our HR team on a temporary basis while we navigate an upcoming leave period. This role is ideal for someone who has several years of hands-on HR coordination experience and exposure to compensation processes. You’ll be stepping into a collaborative and people‑focused environment where your attention to detail,

organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information will be greatly valued.


In this role, you’ll support day‑to‑day HR operations, assist with employee inquiries, maintain and update HR records, help with onboarding tasks, and provide essential support to the team’s compensation workflows. This may include preparing compensation-related documentation, supporting compensation review cycles, assisting with data audits, and partnering with HR Business Partners to ensure smooth processes.


The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment. You should be someone who communicates well, loves supporting others, and is eager to jump in wherever needed to keep the HR team running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day‑to‑day support to the HR team during leave coverage
  • Assist with compensation-related tasks such as data entry, audits, documentation, and process coordination
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS updates
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Partner with HRBPs and cross-functional teams as needed
  • Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and compensation materials
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment practices


Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years of HR coordination experience
  • Exposure to compensation processes strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and supportive HR environment
  • Proficient with HRIS systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
