Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment processes, talent acquisition, employee onboarding, and programs for talent development,
performance management, and retention.
- Mediate employee disputes, manage employee relations issues, and ensure smooth and positive working
environments.
- Ability to coach/mentor individuals and managers across the organization to ensure a cooperative work
environment.
- Experience in conducting internal investigations and documentation of required matters.
- Ensure all HR practices and policies comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage the site HR teams, oversee the management of their HR department's performance, budget,
and practices to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Display proficiency in analyzing data and trends to make informed decisions regarding HR strategy and
operations.
- Understanding business operations to effectively contribute to organizational strategy and growth.
- Responsible for multi-state compliance with HR Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments and leaders.
- Oversee HR policies; development, implementation, communications and enforcement.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all
levels from plant personnel to senior Executive Leadership as well as managing expectations and resolving
issues.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Solid judgement and decision-making skills with a calm approach.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Experience: 9+ years of human resources generalist management experience with key areas of employee
relations, leadership coaching/development, and employment law. Prior supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-state locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related discipline.
- Experience and practical knowledge of California employment law.
- Computer literate with strong foundation with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

- Perform the essential job functions consistently safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other
federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA & federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
