We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Director to join our leadership team. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes to ensure Providence Care remains a compliant, supportive, and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention of caregivers and administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, as well as healthcare regulations.
- Design and manage performance management systems, staff training, and development programs.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Create HR policies, employee handbooks, and maintain accurate personnel files.
- Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and manage workforce planning.
- Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits administration, and caregiver scheduling coordination.
- Monitor and improve company culture, employee engagement, and satisfaction.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Recruitment & Retention: Maintain caregiver turnover rate at or below 25% annually.
- Hiring Efficiency: Fill open caregiver positions within 7-14 days of posting.
- Compliance: Achieve 100% compliance with caregiver credentials, labor laws, and healthcare regulations.
- Onboarding: Ensure 95% of new hires complete onboarding and required training within their first week.
- Employee Satisfaction: Increase employee engagement scores by 10% year-over-year.
- Payroll Accuracy: Maintain payroll and scheduling error rate at less than 2% per quarter.
- Performance Reviews: Achieve 90% on-time completion of quarterly staff reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of HR leadership experience (healthcare or home care strongly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (experience with AxisCare a plus).
- Demonstrated success in reducing turnover and building high-performing teams.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
