We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team in Chicago on the west side. This is a full-time, in-office leadership role requiring a strong combination of technical HR abilities and hands-on project management experience.


What You’ll Bring to the Table:

Hands-On Approach and Technical Proficiency

  • You must balance strategic thinking with execution—project management is critical.
  • Advanced proficiency in tools like Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) is non-negotiable.
  • Need someone technical: problem solvers who aren't hands-off or reliant solely on delegation.


Extensive HR Experience

  • At least 10+ years in Human Resources. This is a Senior Manager/Director-level role.


Proven Process Rebuilding Expertise

  • Previous hands-on involvement in implementing at least two HRIS systems and redesigning processes.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize workflows for automation. Focused on leveraging technology over increasing headcount.


Retail HR Leadership

  • Extensive HR experience in retail with multi-location oversight.


The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually. Benefits available to contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
