Human Resources Director

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking a Human Resources Director to leads the organization’s HR strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals. Must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and have the ability to monitor the performance of assigned departments. This person will work directly with the company's owner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
• 10 years of experience in HR field
• 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
• 5 years of experience using ADP Workforce (setup, update and remove employee information)
• 5 years of experience recruiting
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Must be able to drive company vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Oversee investigations, disciplinary actions, and legal matters as needed
• Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
• Onboarding and Offboarding

Shift:

• This role requires onsite work from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Monday to Friday and half-day on Saturdays. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

With over 20 years in business, we collect, and process used cooking oil to produce Biodiesel, a carbon reducing alternative fuel to Hydrocarbons. Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
