Human Resources Director (Manufacturing Industry)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to lead all HR functions in our Largo, Florida facility. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business objectives, ensure compliance, and promote a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Oversee staffing and workforce planning to meet production and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEOC, OSHA, FMLA, etc.).
• Drive initiatives in employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.
• Manage performance management and succession planning processes.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe, fair, and productive workplace.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees regarding HR matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
• Proven experience in leading HR operations for multi-shift environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
