Key Responsibilities
A. Talent Acquisition & Local Engagement
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to prioritize local hiring and provide job opportunities to empower the communities of Havelock Island and the Andamans.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new employees, ensuring they understand the CGH Earth core values.
- Maintain strong relationships with local educational institutions and community leaders to build a sustainable local talent pipeline.
B. Training, Development, & Compliance
- Plan and execute mandatory and specialized staff training programs, including first aid, fire safety, cyclone awareness, and hospitality service standards.
- Develop and deliver orientation programs that immerse new hires in the property’s philosophy on Environmental Conservation (e.g., waste management, plastic reduction, protecting marine life) and Eco-Tourism practices.
- Ensure all HR policies, documentation, and operational procedures are in full compliance with local labour laws and CGH Earth corporate standards.
C. Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as a trusted point of contact for all employees, managing grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution in a fair, consistent, and respectful manner.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and community-focused work environment, reflective of the company's ethos.
- Coordinate staff participation in internal and external activities.
D. Administration & Payroll
- Manage all HR administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records, attendance, leave management, and work permits (if applicable).
- Process monthly payroll and statutory contributions accurately and on time.
- Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for the General Manager and Corporate HR.
5. Qualifications & Requirements
- Education : Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Executive, preferably within the hospitality industry. Experience in remote locations or with resorts that have a strong focus on sustainability is highly desirable.
- Skills :
- Excellent knowledge of Indian labour laws, specifically those applicable to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi and/or local Andaman languages is a significant advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
