The Human Resources Generalist will have a strong background in employee relations. This role will require a self-started and work with minimal supervision. Responsible for fostering a positive work environment and addressing all employee concerns. Administer employee benefits and support the management team.

Serve as a point of contact for all employee relations issues.

Conflict resolution workplace concerns and disciplinary action

Conduct thorough investigations

Counsel managers and employees on company policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with all state, federal and local labor laws and payroll regulations in multiple states

Coordinate employee onboarding

Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment process

Maintain employee database
-
Track open positions and oversight on recruiting efforts

Backup for payroll processing

Review human resources processes and recommend solutions for improvement

Other duties as assigned

Create and administer performance appraisals

Bilingual in English/Spanish

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

HR certification, such as PHR, SHRMCP, is a plus

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization

Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to remain objective and impartial in conflict resolutions

Indepth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
