Overview
Diamond Fulfillment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a full-time, onsite role. This role is designed for an experienced HR professional who will provide comprehensive support across all functional areas, including benefits administration, compliance, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations. The HR Generalist will play an important role in foster a positive workplace culture, supporting managers, and employees, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. They will ensure compliance with employment regulations, support organizational objectives, and foster a professional and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees HR related questions and concerns.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, terminations, offboarding, and exit interviews.
- Support recruitment efforts: posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating new hire paperwork.
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollments, employee communications, and vendor coordination.
- Partner with management on employee relations issues, coaching, and performance improvement.
- Maintain accurate employee files, HRIS records, and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to HR programs and initiatives that support engagement, retention, and organizational goals.
- Coordinate and track compliance training, certifications, and workplace safety requirements.
- Prepare reports and analysis on HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and tracking of contingent labor hours.
- Administer unemployment insurance (UI) claims and respond to agency requests.
- Conduct and document workplace investigations in accordance with policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- Proven experience in benefits administration, payroll, compliance tracking, and unemployment claims.
