Position: HR Generalist
Shift: 40 hours a week M-F 8-5
Pay: 55k – 85k Annually Paid Bi-Weekly

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of programs meant to promote employee engagement and satisfaction with the organization and reduce turnover.
- Oversees employee relations related issues, which may include employee disciplinary action, conflict or grievance resolution, work life balance, or the EAP program.
- Ensures programs are administered fairly across the employee population.
- Participates in investigation into employee/employer misconduct.
- Conducts or moderate’s manager training, sexual harassment training (online), and security training, as needed.
- Designs and implements programs focused on long-term growth and career development of employees. Enhances the employee experience through onboarding, training, education, mentoring, career pathing, or similar programs, ensuring that programs align with organizational needs.
- Creates or sources content for development programs and integrates content into LMS or other systems as appropriate.
- Works closely with the Lab Director to ensure all new hires complete OSHA and Safety training.
- Onboards new hires and ensure managers have completed the I9 portion correctly.
- Oversee all Swipeclock operations.
- Assists Opes team with SUI and EEOC cases and appeals.
- Review and approve all payrolls.
- Files all documentation in employee files with naming convention. Ensures compliance is met with all personnel files.
- Oversee, execute, and tracking of all FMLA, PLOA, and parental leaves.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
This is a full-time, permanent position Elevate Cannabis.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or business partner role.
- Experience managing employee relations, investigations, and compliance programs required.
- Prior experience with PrismHR/Swipeclock and payroll processing preferred.
- Experience with FMLA, leave management, and regulatory reporting (e.g., EEOC, SUI) strongly preferred.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification is preferred but not required.
- OSHA or safety training coordination experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead training, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
- In office with the ability to work remotely 1 day a week.
- May require occasional travel for training, recruiting, or compliance purposes.
