We are a growing home health care organization dedicated to serving former nuclear workers under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA). Our mission is to deliver compassionate, compliant, and high-quality care to a unique and deserving patient population. As we expand, we’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our workforce and ensure smooth onboarding and HR operations.

Job Summary

The HR Generalist will manage core HR functions with a strong focus on employee onboarding. This role ensures new hires are welcomed, prepared, and aligned with our values and compliance standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, empathetic, and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Coordinate onboarding for clinical and administrative staff
  • Verify credentials, background checks, and training completion (e.g., Relias modules)
  • Maintain onboarding materials tailored to home health and EEOICPA compliance
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new hires

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee status changes
  • Assist with performance reviews, merit increases, and policy rollouts
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits

Compliance & Policy Support

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, EEOICPA, and other regulatory standards
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Support incident documentation and corrective action processes

Culture & Engagement

  • Promote a culture of respect, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to address workforce trends and needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
