Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist serves as the on-site HR presence for our Arizona operations, supporting employees at the client facility. This position plays a key role in creating a positive, engaged, and high-performing workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

The HR Generalist will work closely with the Recreation Director, Regional Director and site leadership team to deliver employee support, onboarding efforts, and foster employee engagement aligned with Risher Amenity Management’s core values.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees located in the Morenci Community Center.

Partner closely with the Recreation Director and Regional Director to promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture.

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordination for site-level positions.

Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a consistent and welcoming experience.

Support employee relations, coaching, and performance discussions, escalating issues appropriately to the HR Director.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Provide guidance to Recreation Director, Specialists and employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

Collaborate with the corporate HR team on payroll updates, benefits enrollment, and leave management as needed.

Lead or assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and team events that promote company culture.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).

3–5 years of progressive HR experience is preferred.

Strong understanding of employee relations, and HR compliance.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.

Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Work Environment

Requires flexibility to attend employee or client events as needed.

Regular collaboration with corporate HR team (remote/virtual).
