Human Resources Generalist

Part-Time HR Generalist

Location: Fairfield, Connecticut/Hybrid (with flexible scheduling)

Hours: 20–25 hours per week

Reports To: General Counsel/Human Resources Director

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on and people-oriented Part-Time HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR operations and employee relations at AtmosAir. In this role, you’ll report directly to and work hand-in-hand with the General Counsel/Human Resources Director to ensure compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience.

You will also serve as a primary liaison with our PEO partner, TriNet, managing benefits, employee records, and HR compliance processes. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being at the center of both operational and people-focused initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a main point of contact with TriNet for all HR and benefits matters.
  • Partner daily with the General Counsel/HR Director to execute HR initiatives and address workforce needs.
  • Support recruiting activities — posting jobs, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain accuracy of employee data, records, and HRIS updates through TriNet.
  • Provide employee support on benefits, leave, and company policies, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Assist with attendance tracking and compliance reporting.
  • Monitor and help maintain adherence to labor laws, safety standards, and HR best practices.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and culture programs, helping make AtmosAir a great place to work.

Assist on major HR initiatives such as employee handbooks and performance management.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR or HR Generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or production.
  • Experience working with a PEO, especially TriNet, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and Connecticut employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools.
