Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist - Be the Heart of Our People Operations!
Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) | Inpatient Rehabilitation | Full-time | On-site

What You'll Do

This role sits at the center of everything people-related. You'll keep our HR engine running smoothly - from the moment a candidate applies to the day-to-day operations that keep our team taken care of.

Expect to own:

  • Recruiting coordinationpre-employment screening
  • Onboarding - making great first impressions stick
  • HRIS maintenance, data integrityreporting
  • Benefits reconciliation401(k) admin support
  • I-9 complianceemployee recordkeeping
  • Garnishment processing
  • ACA, EEO-1, and OSHA-300 reporting
  • Compensation adjustment coordination
  • SOP documentationcompliance calendar upkeep

Who You Are

You love organized chaos. You're the person who catches the error before it becomes a problem, asks the right question before it becomes a fire, and takes pride in doing the unglamorous stuff really well.

You probably have:

  • 2+ years in an HR support or coordinator role
  • Hands-on HRIS experience (bonus: multi-system exposure)
  • A detail-obsessed mindset with strong follow-through
  • Comfort working across HR compliance, benefits, and TA simultaneously
  • Knowledge and Proficiency with Word, Excel People Soft or HRIS

Schedule and Location

  • Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation, on-site at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI).
  • Schedule: Full-time; 7:30am - 4:30pm
