DELVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY

You'll have either a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 4 PM or a part time schedule that we mutually agree upon - this HR role can potentially allow a part-time commitment. No weekends!

As our HR Generalist, you will be expected to:

  • Manage all recruitment and onboarding processes; revise job descriptions as necessary/advised by department managers
  • Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees and maintain mandatory trainings for both new hires and current employees
  • Manage benefits administration, enrollment, and reporting, as well as work with benefit vendors and benefits broker to help manage the benefits open enrollment process
  • Manage and proactively audit employee profiles within the HR/time/payroll system and provide payroll support when necessary while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of HR files
  • Ensure compliance of all practice staff to HIPAA regulations relating to patient records and privacy; coordinate and manage timely staff trainings and certifications to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations governing clinical practice
  • Act as HIPAA/OSHA officer for the practice; manage and maintain incident reporting and documentation for employees
  • Plan, develop, organize, and implement various HR programs and projects on an as needed basis to support the growth of the organization
  • Foster culture of customer service and commitment to quality care


DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME OUR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required
  • Familiarity with healthcare processes and systems
  • Experience in healthcare and/or customer service preferred
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws
  • Ability to support a diverse workforce across multiple job functions
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Team-player, reliable, "can do" attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Resides in or the ability to relocate to East Weymouth, MA 02189 before starting work
