Human Resources Generalist

  • A leading distributor and fabricator of stainless steel and other products. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with exceptional service and a broad inventory, including stainless steel pipes, tubes, fittings, and a variety. Our headquarters and primary processing center are located in GA, with mill depots across the country ensuring prompt delivery of our products.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection, including job descriptions, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and personal data while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including employee training and performance management systems.
  • Provide support in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a positive orientation experience.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support employee engagement and relationships through regular communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation of workforce activities.
  • Participate in the development of compensation and benefits strategies, alongside market rate analysis.
  • Collaborate with management to address HR issues and provide recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
  • Maintain the HR database and prepare reports as necessary to track metrics and effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • General Labor Recruiting Experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
