Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for a passionate and organized HR Generalist to join our People team! Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, loves working with people, and wants to make a real impact on company culture? Then we'd love to hear from you!

Job Duties Include:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and HR inquiries
  • Administer benefits, leaves of absence (FMLA/state leaves), and HRIS platforms
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law
  • Partner with managers on performance management, PIPs, and coaching conversations
  • Own and update HR policies, employee handbook, and internal documentation
  • Support recruiting by coordinating offer letters, background checks, and new hire paperwork
  • Lead engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and culture programs
  • Run HR reporting and share people analytics insights with leadership

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a remote or distributed company
  • Working knowledge of US employment law (multi-state experience a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform (Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Job Type:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • HR Generalist or HR Coordinator: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Employee relations: 2 years (Preferred)
  • HRIS administration: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
