This position requires a professional self-starter with a proven track record in the areas of payroll processing, able to communicate across multiple departments in an efficient and timely manner, and understand basic recruiting guidelines and software systems. The candidate will need 2+ years of experience in processing payroll through a third party payroll provider. The candidate must ensure any company or employee information is kept confidential and be comfortable working within a fast-moving HR department. This position will report to the HR Team Leader as well as CFO and President.

Key duties/responsibilities of HR Generalist:

• Experience in payroll processing preferably with ADP software system or equivalent.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn ADA, OSHA, EEO, & FSLA Policies.

• Experience or willingness to learn how to conduct interviews for potential candidates of the business.
• Experience or willingness to learn how to handle worker compensation procedures and processes while working with company insurance provider.
• Will be responsible for EEOC reporting training can be provided.
• Will be responsible for working with Fleet Manager on auto accident filings with company insurance company.
• Will be responsible for working with Safety Manager on worker compensation accident filings with insurance company.

• Will be responsible for working with team on any general liability accident filings with insurance company.
• Proficient in Microsoft software and HR related software packages used.
• Answer any employee related HR questions around payroll, benefits, etc…
